What Should You Budget For Your Video?

I recently received a call from a company in search of a professional to create their videos. They had previously had someone else create a few videos for them and the videos were not done to their liking.  Upon further investigation, it turned out that they didn’t hire the wrong people to create their videos.  They had the wrong budget.  They had wanted a mansion on a refrigerator box budget.

It is never to early to start thinking about your budget for the new year.  One of the most frequently asked questions we get is, “What does video cost?”  Most companies set their budgets too low; which ensures that the videos they create will fail to provide a return on investment.  Most of the time, companies only plan to create one or two videos, with no plan for the success of those videos or how those videos fit into the buyer’s journey.    The short answer to the questions what should you budget is I don’t know but we are willing to help you figure it out.

In order to help our friends and clients, we are scheduling meetings to talk with your team about your goals for video and what the resulting videos from those dreams might cost.  This is not the same as our video blueprint session; which is to actually build a plan.  This session will look at some real-world scenarios to help you put a budget in place that will help you succeed in the new year.
